Hi Vendors. Thank you for visiting this blog. I would appreciate if some of you could comment on events you have done or just gone to. Russell City Blues coming up in Hayward; Cornfest in Brentwood. How about your July 4th shows. There were lots of them all over the place. Sales up? Sales down? Buying crowds? I would like to also post your comments on my Starving Vendors website. If your show was bad, tell me why. Ditto for the good. Need your comments.

I just finshed doing the Russell City Blues Festival in Hayward,Ca.this is one of the worst events i have ever done.if you sell 10 dollar obama t-shirts or 5 dollar sunglasses or 5 dollar lazer crytal you will make money.if your like me i'm a jeweler i have nothing under 15 dollars you will not make anything here . the event was 2 days july12-13.i spoke with the promoter she says shes a vendor but doesn't have her own both there?thats pretty strange.fellow vendors if u want to not make money at an event this is the place.unless your stuff is 1-10 dollars.
Thank you for your comments. The admission price ($15-$20) totally scared me off from selling at this event. I heard that food was quite expensive there also and that really leaves zilch for the vendors. I think that $1 stuff would sell here.
On every Monday, I'll post to this blog requesting input from vendors regarding shows the previous weekend.
